Bring a phone photo into Goodnotes.
The verified scope is dragging photos into Goodnotes on iPad, saving, and reopening. Follow the workflow below.

The workflow
Prepare both devices
Open the NoteFerry receiving tray and your Goodnotes notebook on iPad. Open NoteFerry on your phone, scan the receiver’s connection code, and confirm the connection.
Capture and wait for the photo
Take a test photo on your phone. Wait for it to appear in the iPad tray before dragging.
Drag into the notebook
Keep the receiving tray and Goodnotes visible together. Drag the photo onto the open notebook page and release it where you want it.
Check that it is saved
Confirm the photo is visible, return to the Goodnotes library, and reopen the notebook. Keep the tray original until you confirm the photo is still there.
If something goes wrong
The photo does not appear in the tray
Confirm that the phone is connected to the receiver you are using and keep NoteFerry open on both. Check that the devices’ networks can reach each other, then show the receiver’s connection code and reconnect.
The photo does not appear after dragging
Open an editable notebook page and retry with one photo. Receiving an item does not mean the destination app accepted the drop. Keep the original.
The item is missing after reopening
That attempt has not saved successfully. Keep the tray original, check the notebook app’s save status, and retry and verify before removing any media.
